How the photo was edited

Step 1

I chose the E1 preset in VSCOCam because it doesn’t enhance the colours too much, but it does give the image a slightly grimy look. Perfect for a rainy day.

Step 2

I sharpened the image to give it clarity around the trees and the roof lines.

Step 3

Because the E1 preset didn’t boost the colours much, I increased the saturation slightly.

Step 4

I cropped out some of the more distracting elements on the street level.
